Bougainvilla Lodge has a strict policy for handling customer information. The information you provide to us is confidential and protected to the fullest extent possible. Bougaunvilla Lodge will not disclose or distribute customer information to third parties without prior written consent by the customer.

Conditions of Occupancy


1.  The account remains the responsibility of the guest until payment in full is received, notwithstanding the fact that the guest may have incurred the charges on this account in the course and scope of his employment or service to any company, business of person and that such company, business or person is thus liable for the payment of this account.

2.  The account is payable in advance, on or before 1st day of the month or on presentation, whichever one occurs first. All overdue accounts shall have 30% interest factor levied from date of full and final settlement and it is expressively understood that the guest or sponsoring company is fully liable for all the legal costs (calculated at an Attorney-Client scale), incurred in the respect of the recovery of all overdue accounts.

3.  I/We hereby agree that it is a condition of my/our occupation of the Lodge premises that the owner shall not be responsible for loss of/or damage to any property brought by me/us upon these premises, whether arising from fire, theft or any other cause, or arising from the negligence (or wrongful act) of any person in the employment of the owner. I/We occupy rooms in the Lodge premises, am/are deemed to contract with the owner on this basis,

4.  If I/We should fail to pay my/our account, I/We hereby agree to the Jurisdiction of the Thohoyandou Magistrate's Court for the settling of any dispute arising out of this and I/We chose my/our domicilium citandi et executandi at the address reflected under my/our name of the reverse side.

5,  I/We hereby acknowledge, that my/our stay is for the above mentioned period and that the paid amount will be forfeited in favor of Bougainvilla Lodge should I/we cancel.

6.  I/We acknowledge that the house rules of this Lodge will become an integral part of this contract.

7.  I/We hereby agree that I/we shall be liable for any damage caused by myself/ourselves, or any of my/our guests, during my/our stay at the Lodge and that Management will be remunerated for any repairs that have been done in this context.

8.  I/We hereby acknowledge the hotel's Common law tacit hypathec over any of my/our assets that are situated on the leased premises and declare that the Lodge shall have the right to protect this hypathec, at any stage during my/our stay in this Lodge, should I/we fail to pay my/our account promptly. The Lodge shall also have the right to sell these assets at any time after 30 days have expired after my/our departure, if my/our account is not settled in full at     the time of departure, any residual funds, after such a sale, (if any), shall be forfeited in favor of the Hotel.

9.   I/We acknowledge that I am/we are well informed about the prevailing telephone rates charged by the Lodge and that I/we agree to settle this account upon my/our departure or upon presentation, whichever event occurs first. Should I fail to do so, any such amount may be debited to the aforementioned credit number.

10. Neither Bougainvilla Lodge nor any of its Management, Owner, Agent, Employees or Servants shall be liablefor the personal injury to or death of any person or the loss of or damage to any Property of whatever nature in the Premises or the building or on the Property, howsoever arising or caused and whether by reason or default or negligence of the Company or of any the said persons or otherwise. The guest hereby indemnifies the Lodge and its  Management, Owner, Agents, Employees and Servants against any claim of whatever nature which may be made against any of them arising out of any of the a foregoing occurrences.
